Too long to wait!

Way too long to wait by the look of this patient ... or should I say patience ran out, but the patient didn't! :)

 

This is an exhibit at the Herberton Pioneer Museum, on Australia's Atherton Tablelands, in far north Queensland. As a kid I used to say a place very much like this used to scare the life out of me ... then I find this! LOL

 

Thank goodness for more modern methods these days

 

The information shows the main equipment being used is a Borden air/water unit. These were messy devices needing the dentist to wear waterproof apron to catch the overspray.
