Back to the Berlin travelogue. The Sony centre is a Berlin building with a strong symbolic significance. It was created during the massive urban redevelopment after the fall of the Wall and the reunification of Berlin.
It was designed by Helmut Jahn (engineering: Ove Arup & Partners). Shown here is the dome of the building, shot from the terrace of a Brauhaus.
