Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie

INGREDIENTS (makes about 20-24 large cookies):

 

* 2 sticks softened butter

* 3/4 Cup packed light brown sugar

* 1 Cup granulated sugar

* 2 large eggs

* 1 Tablespoon pure vanilla

* 3.5 Cups all purpose flour

* 1 teaspoon salt

* 1 teaspoon baking soda

* 10 oz bag chocolate chips

* 1 bag of Oreo Cookies (I used the double stuff kind)

 

DIRECTIONS:

 

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix together the butter and sugars until well combined, then add in the eggs and vanilla.

2. In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt and baking soda. Slowly mix in the contents of the other bowl, as well as the chocolate chips.

3. Using an ice cream scooper, place one scoop of batter on top, and one scoop of batter below an Oreo and cover the seams.

4. Place on parchment or wax paper and bake for 10-15 minutes
