Grimsby East Marsh 1

For a brief period in 1988, East Marsh yard was the assembly line for completing some container wagons which had arrived by sea and were brought from the docks by road. Poignantly, the yard retained several relics of the railway's first generation of containerisation, in particular an iconic Birds Eye AFP container.
