Pa Has The Axe and Ma Has The Cats
Not sure what to make of this one, but it ranks up there with my all-time favorites. One of the strangest photos in my collection! It makes you wonder about the purpose behind posing with the axe? Let's hope it had nothing to do with the cats held by "Ma" on the left. Note the woman standing in the doorway with her hand to her face and expression that seems portray despair. Makes you wonder about the family arrangement here. Found in Ohio, no further information on the verso.
