Really Fat,

Insecurities...

 

First off, I couldn't think of a name for it, I just had a concept in my head.

Second, i personally don't feel i have a weight problem and my purpose for this picture isn't "OMG! Im so fat." Its deeper and farther beyond that. And third, Yes i know that the numbers are upside down, but I was 3/4s of the way done editing when i realized that. Im human. I make mistakes.

 

With that said, I uploaded this photo because I've been shopping for Christmas (for myself?) and I noticed all those Victoria Secret Models are made to look so perfect. A body image every girl wants. Including me.

 

I feel society's pressure is greater than ever these days. I don't think its fair for these young girls to have to try/want to live up to what you see in magazines or on tv. We beat ourselves up emotionally, sometimes even physically, to try to get that perfect look, perfect body, perfect everything. It seems like everyone seems to be starving themselves or trying some crazy weight loss plan. Its scaring me.

I just wish everyone could love them for themselves this Christmas.... or see what beauty they really have... (For Kiera)
