Critically endangered - officially declared extinct late 2007. This individual (a male called Qi-Qi) was photographed in captivity in 1988 at the Institute of Hydrobiology, Wuhan, China. Extremely rare photograph - very few in existence. Also known as Beiji and Chinese River Dolphin
