The day I saw Schumacher [Explored]

As a teenager I posted newspaper and magazine cuttings of Michael Schumacher in his brilliant red Ferrari F1 car on my book shelve. Following his illustrious F1 career I was very happy to see him win races and better himself each time. In 2006 Schumacher called it off and retired from F1, I said to myself I won’t be able to see him race in reality. It was heartbreaking. However, after a brief silence Schumacher announced a comeback to F1 and the day I awaited for over ten years finally arrived. 13th March 2010 Bahrain F1 Grand Prix……………… I saw Schumacher. It was unbelievable.

 

I had my 300mm especially for this day, the moment came when Schumacher made his appearance, the crowd was massive and it was extremely difficult to get a decent shot. Finally when he was returning back to his car he turned around to wave, that’s it I got my shot and here I have posted it. This shot means a lot to me. This shot will be my most valuable and most prized shot ever. A dream come true.

 

This is my dedication to my hero….. A legend.
