PERSONAL FUN FACT: I love the look of this varsity style jacket! I remember finding this sometime in the early days of my adult doll collection, and being intrigued. It's very nice quality--the velour is super soft, and it has many subtle details, like trim on the collar and waistband. For all I know, my jacket might have been one of the separately sold ones for the Fashion Scene Fashions line...that could account for why I don't have any other pieces. But there are plenty of occasions when I only find one piece to a doll, so this could have been on a Nolee at one point. I have many My Scene jackets in my collection, and admittedly, I find most of them to be a bit tacky. When it comes to displaying or storing the dolls, I don't mind gaudy clothes. But my inner child who used to play with dolls is a lot fussier. This is totally the sort of thing I would have destroyed via play as a kid. I was obsessed with a clone varsity jacket I got with my first Barbies. This one is far less shabby, would fit a female doll much better, and is a more cheerful color. I know I would have used this regularly had I owned it back then. The green would have looked great on a variety of dolls, like my Spot Scene Teresa, aka Sabrina, or my Travel in Style Barbie, aka Heidi!
