squares for Andrea!

Well, one square so far. This took me a loooong time. Three hours, I think. But I love it more than is reasonable.

 

After I finished, I realized that I probably used way too many small pieces. The next one will use larger cuts.

 

This looks like stained glass to me. And I adore stained glass. So, win.

 

I'm now thinking of using this technique to make a quilted thing-um to put on top of my freshly painted bureau.
