Streamlined islands in Shalbatana Vallis (THEMIS_IOTD_20160530)

Today's VIS image shows a small portion of Shalbatana Vallis, near the end of the channel where it drains into Chryse Planitia. Two streamlined islands are visible in this image and indicate that the flood flowed towards the top of the image.
