M46, M47, and NGC2423 - 2022-02-20 23:33 UTC
A trio of globular clusters in Puppis. The leftmost cluster is NGC2423, the uppermost is M47, and the lower one is M46.
Capture consisted of 7 frames at 240s in red, green, and blue. No bias, dark or flat calibration frames were used. Subs were stacked in Pixinsight.
Luminance extracted and applied, and levels adjusted in Photoshop. No noise reduction was applied.
I am still in the trial and error stage with resuming DSO imaging. There are issues with this image that I think can be improved with more integration time (more frames, and maybe 360s exposures) and flat frames. I want to see if I can get away without bias and darks before I start capturing those.
