M31 Andromeda Galaxy 2020-08-18 0441 UTC
This is THE object that inspired me to get serious about astrophotography. Although I imaged for about two hours, I only found about eighteen decent frames after throwing out the bad ones that were clouded out. I was not expecting much from such a small number of frames, so this image was a surprise.
Andromeda Galaxy will be well-placed for some time to come, and I learned a lot that will be useful the next time I attempt to image it. Looking forward to a clear, dry fall evening about a month from now.
