M8 The Lagoon Nebula

Yet another version of the Lagoon Nebula, maybe this time closer to Hubble palette. I'm done with the Lagoon.....15 versions later.

 

 

Reprocess in false color,with Ha as Green(converted to yellow), OIII as Blue(light blue), Ha+RGB as Red.

Images aquired using APT

Guided with Starshoot Autoguider and 50mm guide scope

Aligned and stacked with Nebulosity

Post-process with StarTools GIMP & Windows Live Photo

 

38 total frames: (4hrs 35min) with an equal # of dark frames

OIII-4x300 5x600 iso 800 Canon T3i with Astronomik OIII clip-in filter

Ha-5x300 5x600 3x900 iso 800 Canon T3(modified) with Astronomik Ha clip-in filter

RGB-5x60 6x300 5x600 iso 800 Canon T3i no filters
