M13 The Hercules Cluster
I haven't imaged since October 2021....it's always cloudy! I wanted something easy to get back into it
I took this image of M13 with my 1990's 8" Meade LX-50 at F/6.3.
6/4/22 & 6/18/22
QHY23M & Meade 8" SCT(F/6.3)
L-10x300sec
R-10x300
G-10x300
B-10x300
I also used some older OSC camera data for better star color.
QHY128C & 11" Celestron Edge (F/7)
19x120sec
When checking the images I noticed the blue filtered images were much sharper and produced many more stars. I actually used this as a Luminance layer after the LRGB image was complete.
