The May 1st. wreath
There's a May 1st. tradition all over Greece: flowers are gathered and a wreath made of them is hung on the eve of May 1st. from balconies and windows or over house thresholds.
At night, young men sometimes steal the wreaths and take them to their loved ones! The wreaths not stolen remain hung until the feast of St. John, the Fire lighter, in June, when fires are lit and young men and women jump over them. May 1st. wreaths are then thrown into the fires...
Let me dedicate this wreath of purple flowers, as a symbol of Spring eternal and also young love eternal, to "zoom in tight"'s

daughter, who's getting married today...
May she live happy and always in love!..
