Harshini Cinemas is a newly launched Kannada film production house founded by Latashree D.C., daughter of former MLA Dr. Devanand Chavan. The studio was inaugurated by former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, marking a culturally significant entry into the industry.
Their debut film is titled “Kirunage”, a female-centric emotional drama directed by Ashok Kadaba, known for films like Satyam. Latashree herself penned the story, while the screenplay is by Kadaba. Music will be composed by Sukrut, from A.R. Rahman's team.
