Path to Hope — Terry Fox Legacy Art Installation, Waterfront Toronto
Part of Path to Hope: “We Are Shaped by the Obstacles We Face”, this sculpture depicts a young Terry Fox seated before his Marathon of Hope — a quiet reflection on resilience and courage. Installed along Toronto’s waterfront, the Legacy Art Project invites visitors to contemplate the obstacles that shape our own journeys.
Commissioned through the Legacy Art Project Toronto, in partnership with Waterfront Toronto, City of Toronto, and Waterfront BIA, the work was created by artist Jon Sasaki and landscape architects DTAH, supported by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
