Field notes: From the Heart of the black lake the Earth is calling you, ‘rise with me’. Leaving its tracks across the face of the full moon and the weeping lake, the Goanna rises. From the Mind of the black lake the Earth is calling you, ‘fly with me’. Leaving the watery shadows the Great White Egret takes flight. From the Source of the black lake the Earth is calling you, ‘unite with me’; reptilian tail, scales and feathered-wings merge; ‘glide with me’. From the Womb of the black lake the Dragon rises and out of its shadow the Phoenix is seen, reborn. From the Soul of the black lake, the divine reflection of all creation, the Earth is calling you, 'ascend with me'. The Earth is calling to you.
