My favourite style of people photography is candid. I try and capture images of people without them being aware. But sometimes somebody in shot becomes aware of my presence.
As is the case here. I was taking shots of the punters watching the Gold Plate at the Galway Races. Everybody was engrossed in the race.
Except this old codger who must have a sixth sense. One minute he was watching the race with everyone else. The next, he was staring down the barrel of my lens, and he did not look happy.
