The narrow streets and alleys of Lübeck

Have you ever been to Lübeck/Germany ~ home to the famous marzipan? If you have the chance to go there, pls. do so by all means. There is a lot to see, maripan to taste and numerous narrow alleys in the historic part of the town. It is said that the width of the narrow alleys was determined by the width of a coffin. Most of the houses in these narrow streets were donated by the richer citizens of Lübeck and provided dwellings for the working class. Must have been cramped living-quarters in olden times. Nowadays they are a very pretty sight to see.

Enhanced with self-made textures.

Thanks for your visits, comments and faves. You all hang on in there until the weekend ;-)
