forgive an enemy
**This one is BY FAR the most difficult one for me to do...i will work on it!!**
most of you have probably seen these on my stream if you have me as a contact. i am choosing to add a few to sarah's flickr peeps group because i need to dig in deep and get to the bottom of some of these. maybe we all do...maybe ours are similar to someone elses??? as i stated, this one, "forgive an enemy" is a difficult one for me. i'm having a hard time even THINKING i can do this someday with one person in particular. and the strange thing is that i never thought to give this person the title of "enemy". however, i have heard from enough people and been to enough counseling to know that it doesn't help to carry a grudge, resentment, etc. BUT I CAN'T HELP IT!!! any insight would be appreciated!! :)
........a new flickr contact/friend i came across has this on one of her sets. i'm not sure if she composed it or if the excerpts are from various places. the bottom line is, i love it. i copied this down and haven't been able to get a lot of these words of advice out of my head. some of them seem so simple to me, while others seem nearly impossible at this time in my life. i decided i would take each phrase/challenge/word of wisdom and attach a piece of imagery to it. not sure they will all be photos, but imagery nevertheless. i need to conquer some of these things, that's for sure. so today begins my new project. thanks so much to Meike Vos, the fabulously talented and sweet flickr buddy i came across with this in one of her sets. i appreciate you more than you know lady!! :)
think freely
practice patience
smile often
savor special moments
make new friends
rediscover old ones
tell those you love that you do.
feel deeply
discard worry
forget trouble
forgive an enemy
keep a promise
take a chance
try something new
reach out
have good ideas
make some mistakes
learn from them
be crazy
count your blessings
observe miracles
make them happen
see a sunrise
listen to the rain
look for rainbows
gaze at the stars
see beauty everywhere
laugh heartily
spread joy
reminisce
give
trust
give in
slow down
let someone in
be soft sometimes
hope
grow
work hard
be wise
try to understand
cry when you need to
trust life
have faith
enjoy wonder
comfort a friend
believe in myself
forgive an enemy
