Steampunk "Medusa Rifle" WIP - Medusa backsight_05

Further progress on the Medusas Head becoming the Medusa Rifles aiming sight,

 

The complete head is barely 5cm small, sculpted from FIMO Soft, based on an old candleholder (see here www.flickr.com/photos/arsenal_best/6546707375/in/photostream)

 

Next step is making a mold for casting the head in whitemetall.

I do this without the snakes yet, to have a backup mold first before I go further as I'm uncertain if it will be possible to make a usable mold with all the snakes in place.
