Ars Electronica Center
To the east of the main building is an attractive plaza that makes a tapering transition into tiers which function as steps and seating. Directly beneath this plaza—now known as Ars Electronica Square—is the Center’s Main Gallery, a 1,000-m2 exhibition area, the floor of which actually lies below the water table. Connected to this hall are the labs, workshops and testing facilities of the Ars Electronica Futurelab.
