Augmented Reality Sandbox
The "Augmented Reality Sandbox" adds 3D visualizations to a conventional sandbox and thus illustrates geoscientific concepts. Topographic contour lines are projected onto sand heaps and pits in real time and the sandbox can then be used as a height color map including simulated water surfaces.
