Field / Marlene Reischl (AT)

The light installation "Field" combines fluorescent tubes and Tesla coils. The high voltage fields of the coils illuminate the tubes. When the coils move over the sculpture, their electric fields activate the tubes and stimulate the gas trapped in them to produce flowing light movements. The lack of cable connections and the gentle movement of the light put the installation in a mysterious, poetic mood.
