Eivør Pálsdóttir, the most celebrated Faroese musician on earth. The head in the background is her mother Sædis (from behind). The other woman is a musician of Eivør's band, I think.
It was taken in Tønder 2006. There she just won another awards and is very lucky.
I took the photo with my brand new Sony R1. It was one of the first shots with this camera. I just used the green full automatic and the built-in flash. What was wrong with many other photos on the same "film" that night, worked fine, when Eivør posed in front of me. This is the second shot of two (I like better).
