100 Strangers: 231 The Jermyn Street Gentleman

When wonderful strangers like Michael come along you have no choice but to approach him for a portrait. And it's when you meet wonderful people like this that you are reminded what a great project this is.

I bumped into Michael in Soho and he was on a mission, he was looking for the Marquee, another one of the many venues in the West End which have been lost to developers. The Marquee was a famous music venue in Soho where many famous musicians used to play, including Pink Floyd - this was why Michael was interested and I believe he was wearing a Pink Floyd T-shirt underneath too.

Back in the day he used to work in retail, managing shops such as Ralph Lauren. What he loved most about it was meeting so many fabulous people. Chatting with him I could see why he would have met so many as he is man full of charisma himself.

He is also quite the Sartorialist as you will see form his intstagram @the.jermyn.st.gentleman. Thanks very much Michael it was a pleasure.
