The Kyle Rona Walk
Another day on Raasay and again perfect weather. We drove to Arnish which involves a couple of miles along "Calum's Road". We had a walk up to the high point of Ben Na h-Iolaire (all of 833 feet high) to start with. Then I would continue on the old path to the northernmost tip of Raasay - Kyle Rona. Well if the children at Kyle Rona could walk the daily three miles there and three miles back to and from the school at Torran by Arnish then so could I! The white building was adjacent to another single-storey building. One was the mission house and one was the school but still unsure which was which.
