This was sent by my sister for Diwali last year for diwali . According to Hindu mythology while Laxmi is the goddess of fortune, Kuber is the God of wealth. Traditionally Kuber is worshipped by trading or business communities of India and still continue to worship him on Diwali.
Lord Kuber maintains the treasures on earth and protects the riches buried inside the earth. Kuber is well known as ‘the god of Yakshas.’ Kuber is mostly worshipped in the form of Yantra. This powerful Yantra brings distinct change in one’s prosperity and luck.
The followers of all the three religions- Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism worships Kuber. Kuvera is the ancient deities of India who itself are the guardians and protectors of the land like Yaksha. Kuvera is the guardian of North direction of the earth and supervise all the other yakshas.
