Ladder-tailed Nightjar
In the depths of the Amazon at Lagos Yaguacaca near Leticia, Colombia, I encountered the Ladder-tailed Nightjar, Hydropsalis climacocerca. This photograph captures the essence of this elusive bird, expertly blended into its environment.
