This is one of the most impressive of all the churches I've visited and the history dates back to an incredible 1086 for practised Christianity here. It's even been recorded in the Domesday Book! It's worth clicking the links below for a short read and history about this place…
Sadly, this mighty church is struggling with severe structural damage that's occurred in the roof due to the death watch beetle! So most of the church is now closed off (see their website).
