Emma (rapturously): “It’s got sparkles! An’ little pearls! An’ a long, fluttery skirt! An’ fits like a dream! It’s the most beautiful thing in the entire world!” *falls back against Yuri and does another joyful wiggle-n-writhe*
Candy: “Uh, I think y’all might’ve done too good of a job on the dress. At this rate, she’s going to have a massive happy attack and die on us.”
Emma: *sing-song voice* “Dress-dress-dress! I look b!tchin’ in my *flourishes grandly with her arms* dreeess.”
Candy: *shakes with laughter*
Kumi: “Can, stop moving around! Do you want a wand in the ball?”
Candy: *eyes widen in alarm* “A what in the where?!”
Kumi: *sighs exasperatedly* “Do you want me to accidently shove this mascara wand into your eyeball?”
Candy: “Uh…no?”
Kumi: “Good answer.”
Candy: *grumbles* “I don’t know why we have to start messing with my make-up now. The wedding’s not for another two days.”
Yuri: “Day and a half, darling, if you want to be precise about it. *gently brushes Emma’s hair, contented sigh* You have such beautiful hair. I cannot wait to style it for the wedding.”
Emma: *face suddenly serious* “Well, we shouldna do anythin’ too extravagant. It’s Candy’s day, so I donna want tae take any attention away from her.”
Candy (riled): “Nu-uh! It’s your day just as much as mine, so you can stop talking out your wee Scottish arsey! Besides, you know I don’t buy into all that ‘It’s the bride’s day!’ crap. Danny makes me feel special every day, whether I’m in a fancy gown or not. I don’t need everyone else’s eyes on me. All I need is Danny’s.”
Yuri: “It is true. I have rarely seen a more smitten man.”
Candy: *grins stupidly* “Yeah.”
Chloe: “Hmm, well, I think you should both wear your tresses down in the back and maybe have the front part pulled back or something. It seems wrong to put all that bodacious hair up. Y’all look like Rapunzels with it all flowy.”
Suki: *eyes herself critically in a mirror* “Yeah, I definitely agree with the princess comparison. I bet birds fly in and braid it for you, when you’re getting ready in the mornings. Hey, Chlo, whaddya think about this blush on me?”
