Molly: *walks in swinging a grocery bag, zeros in on Charley’s guilty expression, drops the bag, and signs* “What’d you do?”
Charley: *signs* “I’m in league with Kumi. She’s managed to corrupt me more in an hour than an entire childhood in the foster care system did.”
Molly: *grins impishly, signs* “Ain’t she something? Got great taste in men, too. I’d like to climb her husband like a squirrel…a squirrel hungry for nuts.”
Charley: *looks to the ceiling* “Are you there, God? It’s me, Charley. Please erase that horrific mental image from my brain. Thank you.”
Kumi: *waves at Molly, points to Charley’s sweater, points at Molly, mimes knitting, and points to herself*
Molly: *signs* “What in the hell was that? Tell her I don’t speak mime.”
Charley: *signs/says* “Kumi wants to know if you’ll knit her a sweater like mine.”
Molly: *hefts her bag onto the counter, signs* “Sure. I should be able to get to it by next spring.”
Charley: “She says she can do it by next spring.”
Kumi (annoyed): “No way! I want one now. I’ll pay double what Goldilocks did! Triple! Money’s no object.”
Molly: *signs while Charley translates aloud* “Sorry. Waiting list. And my other customers’ money spends just as pretty as yours. Guess you’re plumb outta luck, Stretch.“
Kumi: “I’ll give you a night with Simon.”
Molly: *eyebrows shoot up, signs excitedly while Charley translates* “Welcome to the front of the line. You’ll have your cardigan by Christmas. Tell Simon I like kink.”
Kumi: “Doesn’t everybody?”
Yuri: *places hands on hips* “Well, this is highly disturbing.”
