“BIG RUSSIAN SPACE TRIUMPH. UNMANNED SPACECRAFT LINKED.
Russian scientists scored a big Space triumph recently by linking tow unmanned Spacecraft for the first time as they orbited Earth. Spacecraft No. 1 was Cosmos 186, which was launched on October 27 – and Cosmos 188 – Spacecraft No. 2, was put into orbit on Oct. 30. They were guided together by computers as they whirled across the sky 130 miles above Russia.
Television pictures of the docking were flashed to earth by special television cameras in each Spacecraft.
PHOTO SHOWS: Picture from TV screen showing the docking of the two spacecraft.”
Despite being part of the press slug, the last "line" does not apply to the image.
