“STS-1 inched slowly out of the Vehicle Assembly Building shortly after 8 a.m. today to begin a three-and-a half-mile journey to Complex 39’s Pad A. The first Space Shuttle assembly to be prepared for flight was on the hardstand at Pad A in mid-afternoon. Launch is scheduled for no earlier than March, 1981.”
I'm sure the photograph is incorrectly numbered and should be 108-KSC-80PC-640.
