“Astronaut Joseph P. Allen IV holds onto top portion of the Westar VI satellite while Astronaut Dale A. Gardner (out of frame) works to free a “stinger” device from the opposite end. The large tool called a stinger or apogee kick motor capture device (ACD) allowed Gardner to achieve a hard dock with the previously stranded spinning craft. Dr. Allen is standing on a mobile foot restraint attached tandem creates a cherry picker for the in-space workers. Dr. Anna L. Fisher worked the controls from Discovery’s aft flight deck panel during this and an earlier satellite retrieval-EVA on this flight.”

Note the gold-colored (Kapton?) housing of the CCTV camera on the ‘underside’ of the RMS, and the light (turned on btw), mounted to it.
