"Artist's drawing depicts orbiting skylab. Living quarters are in lower section at left. Above that is workshop compartment. Airlock leads from workshop to docking adapter to which Apollo spacecraft is connected. Telescope with four solar panels is mounted on side."

A very very nice work by Russell Arasmith, who - get this - has his OWN gallery of works, AND bio, at the online Marshall Space Art Gallery online:

artgallery.msfc.nasa.gov/russ-arasmith-bio.html

Specifically:

artgallery.msfc.nasa.gov/ra-room3-7.html

Ohhh, never mind, brilliant NASA hierarchy decremented the site, so disregard all after "get this".

Thank you, may I have another.

And...since the MSFC sites are semi-regularly jacked up/or otherwise inaccessible:

www.nasa.gov/centers/marshall/history/arasmith.html

Specifically. Note the differences in crew member placements/activity:

www.nasa.gov/centers/marshall/history/russ-arasmith-skyla...

And he wasn't even a NASA artist. Interesting, 99% of all the other artists are unknown to 99.9999% of the population, and although equally talented, are relegated to the anonymous abyss of the NASA artist's pool.

In Mr. Arasmith's rare instance, I assume due to a combination of volume of work, LA Times tie (Editorial Art Director for 17 years), talent, and frankly, based on my read of his bio, what amounts to his request to be remembered - made it happen. Good for him, another small "win"!

I'll be damned if I can find it again; however, I came upon this image online...somewhere, but with slight variations, to include the re-positioning of the astronauts, inclusion of one testing the AMU and Mr. Arasmith’s signature being present.

Memories must be preserved:
