"Neil turned to his right to take this photo while waiting for Buzz to get farther out of the cabin."

 

This photo was taken "in-between" Neil's iconic sequence of photos showing Buzz egressing the LM and descending its ladder to the lunar surface.

 

The still-covered lunar plaque is visible between the sixth & seventh ladder rungs (counting from top down). In fact, the cover's release and extraction latch is even discernible.
