“These are the NASA Mississippi Test Facility’s three test stands now under construction. The first structure, in the foreground, is one of the two S-II stands being built. The center stand is the second S-II test stand, now virtually complete. The S-II-T, all systems model of the S-II, second stage of the Saturn V space vehicle, can be seen in the stand. At far left in the background, the S-IC dual test towers rise. Its finished height will be 407 feet. The S-IC test stand is destined to be Mississippi’s tallest structure.”
The foreground test stand was designated "A1", the center one was the A2 Test Stand, and the far left/background was the B1/B2 Test Stand.
I wonder what the smoke plume is due to.
