In Memoriam...Beverly C Wood 1941-1978
Many of you may not know this about me...I lost my Mother at age 16 to breast cancer. She left us Sept 5th 1978 just weeks away from her 37th Birthday. Taken far too young,she has missed out on most of the milestones of our lives. Her struggles through radiation and chemo therapy to try and beat this ravaging disease are still burned in my mind.
Please support Breast cancer research and also breast cancer awareness.
Yahoo is donating $1 to the Susan G. Komen foundation for every pink image posted to the Passionately pink for the cure group between Oct 1-31st up to $50,000 If you haven't joined yet,please consider helping.I know we on flickr have at least 50,000 photos that are pink.LOL
