guy at ordering counter, talking on phone to a 6 year old girl:
"well, what kind of doughnut do you want? they have all kinds. there is blueberry, chocolate, lemon filled, raspberry filled, kre - - no no, they actually have doughnuts with raspberry jelly inside of them. what? i dont know how they get the jelly in them. now, they have pumpkin doughnuts, and doughnut holes, and regular doughnuts, too"
me, waiting in line: "oh holy hell, this is going to take forever..."
old woman standing behind me:"i know what kind of doughnut i want"
me: "i knew four blocks away. . ."
guy at counter, still on phone: "well, i'll guess i'll surprise you! what? oh [laughs] i'll guess i'll see you when i get there! [grabs applejuice-type drink from the drink cooler and promptly drops it on the floor, sending its red, sugary contents everywhere] "oh! sorry!" [grabs another one, pays and leaves]
old woman standing behind me: "you've got red on you..."
me, looking at my pant legs: "my shoes are already sticking..."
