2016 APCC MME Model Providers' Meeting
The APEC Climate Center (APCC) held the second Multi-Model Ensemble (MME) Model Providers’ Meeting from May 24 to 25 at the APCC headquarters in Busan, Korea. This event brought together representatives from organizations and institutions that provide climate data to the APCC MME system.
APCC has been collecting data from 17 climate institutes around the world for the MME and its following climate prediction activities for 10 years. APCC uses the MME system to provide the Asia-Pacific area with long-term climate predictions. The purpose of the meeting was to explore methods that will increase the reliability of the APCC MME system and to discuss how to optimize the MME system through various upgrades.
