MacArthur Woolen Mill

Some of the first photos I took with my 7D when I first purchased it were of this former MacArthur Woolen Mill. They were HDRs, but the other day, I saw shot from a different vantage point. A channel leads from the Mississippi River in Carleton Place to the water wheel beside the building (the water wheel is seen better in some of the photos below).

 

To some degree, if you compare the new photos with the old, I have learned what a difference light makes. Not that we always have a choice.
