Queen Ant ( Oecophylla smaragdina)

A queen is she

However tiny a being be

A being, majestic

However tiny a queen be

 

Not in a royal couch

Was she, had no maids of honour,

On a bent down branch

Of a jack tree was she sitting ,strange

 

Is there a foe

To fight and prowess show ?

Against this queen

A marvellous creature, in no less sheen
