R757 An Exceptional Roman Silver Siliqua of the Usurper Procopius (365-366 C.E.)

Procopius. Usurper, AD 365-366. AR Siliqua (17mm, 1.85 g, 12h). Cyzicus mint, 4th officina. DN PROCO PIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / VOT/V in two lines; all within wreath; KVΔ. RIC IX 3a.1 var. (officina); RSC 14†f var. (same). Superb EF. A very rare mint, and apparently unpublished from this officina.
