La vie en rose
Hello my Flickr friends !!
Today pink is the color of the day at Color my World daily and the theme at Smile on Saturday Groupe is: quote. So, I had to find a pink quote… a positive one… a joyful one… a beautiful pink joyful and a full of life quote… because life is joyful and colorful … La vie en rose! Like French people like to say and it means literary : seeing life trough pink colored glasses. And that is what I want to see today: la vie en rose, life in pink !
Even if we are going through some very crazy times, I’m sure with a right way of thinking we can make it!! I don’t know what will happen tomorrow but today I see life in a positive way. Yes, we have to stay home, there is not as much toilet paper as we are use to see, people are stressed, and our worlds are turned upside down… but still we must find something positive in this situation… We have to put our pink colored glasses one more time and see la vie en rose! Even if all we want to do is cry and crawl under a blanket and just sleep until this craziness is over !! And yes, it will be hard because of all what is happening but I’m pretty much sure that we all have something positive in our lives… I have my boys, my parents, my sister my husband, my friends, my Flickr friends ! I have my health so far, which is very positive and yes I have enough toilet paper for the four of us for a next few days (after few days we will see, but one problem at the time !!)… I have a roof over my head, medicine, food and all my family is healthy…That is all positive and good stuff !! I wish “la vie en rose” for all of us !!! That is my quote for today (I feel like someone super important !!! lol). Have an amazing and pink day!!!
Today is my parents 50th weeding anniversary, they had to cancel their trip to Cuba and since they are both 76, they have to be isolated and stay at their house…. I prepared a little surprise for them. My husband will go early in the morning and he will leave a small gift from us on their door step!!! So that is something positive I’m looking forward to… and my Mom loves the song La vie en rose, by Édith Piaf (a famous French singer) so I’m sure she will like my picture.
