Day 6: You Are What You Eat
I couldn't think of anything creative today, because I used it all up for yesterday's day 5 pluto post.
So I decided to do what many people on flickr do, the fridge shot.... Apologies for the boring shot.
As an authentic Chinese girl, I love me food! A lot! But did you know, coming from a Chinese family, it's the food that matters the most. The first thing mothers [or fathers, but not mine] say when you arrive home from a day/night out is: "Have you eaten yet?" no, hi, how are you sort of thing. Just a question about finding out if you've eaten yet.
And as far as the Chinese culture go [from what I know, well other cultures may be like this too... Who knows] Chinese parents show their love to their kids through cooking food for them. Even my friends show love to me through their dinner parties, cooked meals, or baked cookies.
Even I'm starting to love cooking for my family and friends too... Just to be happy that so and so enjoyed my food...
As far as the title for today's post goes, You Are What You Eat, it's a famous British TV program all about food, which my bestfriend keeps reminding me that I am what I eat.
Well if that's the case, the food is love, I eat the food, or love, therefore I am in love? heh... Whatever.
