First Flight For KC-46A Pegasus

2014 was about to be in the history books but on December 28th Boeing did what it committed to earlier this year. From the Boeing Everett facility at Paine Field near Seattle, the first KC-46A ‘Pegasus’ took the skies at 9.30 am local time for a 3 hour test flight. The flight will no doubt be heralded as a milestone for the US Air Force’s troubled KC-X program.
