Strokkur at Geysir
Strokkur is the geyser that is most active at the Geysir area. Old Geysir is mostly inactive, since the water bowl is being too large for him. But when we have the large South Iceland earthquakes it becomes active for some months. Last time the summer 2008. When He erupts it is like nothing I have seen - up to 80 m. column of water. Strokkur is seldom more than 40 m. high. Which is pretty awesome!
